What are the "spotlight" features?
This is where you will learn a little more about about our sponsors and the blogs taking part in the celebration! Let's take a look at some fabulous bookish folks...

Gayle Carline is a typical Californian, meaning that she was born somewhere else. She moved to Orange County from Illinois in 1978, and landed in Placentia a few years later. Her husband, Dale, bought her a laptop for Christmas in 1999 because she wanted to write. A year after that, he gave her horseback riding lessons. When she bought her first horse, she finally started writing. ... In her spare time, Gayle likes to sit down with friends and laugh over a glass of wine. And maybe plan a little murder and mayhem.
This author has generously donated one paperback copy of her book Freezer Burn as a prize in our Kick-Off Contest! To find out more about her comings and goings in the world of literature, visit her website, Facebook page, or follow along on Twitter!

(18+ Only)
I realized recently that, over the course of the past 10 years, my library has grown exponentially and is 400+ books strong. With this in mind, I also realized that I had nothing to read, so I went looking for recommendations online and saw that many other readers had blogs with their book reviews and recommendations. I decided to join in the fracas and share MY love of books and connect with other readers through my own blog--and my own reviews and recommendations. :)
