What are the "spotlight" features?
This is where you will learn a little more about about our sponsors and the blogs taking part in the celebration! Let's take a look at some fabulous bookish folks...

Anne Carter
While romantic mystery and suspense are her favorites, Anne has written middle grade mysteries, literary shorts, poetry and non-fiction. Long a lighthouse fanatic, it was only a matter of time before her obsessions intersected and a series of lighthouse novels emerged. Paranormal elements abound in both POINT SURRENDER and CAPE SEDUCTION, where mystery, romance and troubled ghosts provide hauntingly entertaining tales set in California lighthouses.
Thanks to this author's generosity we have one paperback copy of Point Surrender to add to the Kick-Off contest! To learn more about her books and everyday writing life, visit her website, Facebook page, or follow along on Twitter!

Proud Book Nerd
(ham1299)
To list my [blog] as Christian fiction seems wrong. Don't get me wrong. I read a LOT of Christian fiction - much of which is expressly for the purpose of reviewing. But, I really read bunches of things, and often review something that I haven't agreed to simply because it makes me want to share it. Lately, I've been reading a lot of YA, general fiction, and Christian living/devotional stuff.

Casa Costello
(HelenatAardvark)
Hi, Casa Costello is a fairly new blog set up to spread the joy I feel when devouring books. I love realistic fiction, meaning I'm not a fan of sci-fi, horror or anything too wacky! I live in the UK and have covered a lot of British authors - I love finding a new book that has an original story!

A Novel Idea is a blog about bringing children and literature together through book reviews and recommendations, literacy tips, and children's author/illustrator showcasing.
